AI ecommerce platform preview built around seller authority

Prostir is an AI ecommerce platform preview that combines a distinct Store, catalog, inventory, cart, checkout, and an authorized Agent. Buyers can discover and compare products through conversation while commerce state and seller authority remain inside the exact Store.

What is getting in the way

A generic chatbot can describe a product, but it does not own current variants or inventory, the buyer's cart, checkout policy, or seller payment authority. Mixing conversation and commerce authority produces confident answers with unsafe actions behind them.

What changes

Keep the Store as owner of catalog, inventory, cart, order state, and checkout policy. Give one approved Agent narrowly scoped discovery and purchase tools, then publish a Store passport where buyers can browse offers and open the assistant without crossing seller boundaries.

How Prostir gets you there

  1. Choose the Store source

Start with the native Store foundation or one of six checkout-ready Preview connector paths only for its verified capabilities; treat four connection-only paths as private drafts.

  2. Authorize one Agent

Choose an existing published Agent and grant only the actions it needs inside this Store. The Agent never becomes the Store or gains another seller's authority.

  3. Test the buyer path

Open the Store passport, discover and compare a product, build one Store cart, continue to checkout, and confirm that every action stays with one seller.

What you can verify

  • The current Prostir Store foundation covers catalog, variants, inventory, one-Store carts, checkout and order state, seller fees, Store-scoped customer state, passport, authorized Agent binding, and gated commerce-only MCP. A WebMCP-compatible browser assistant can search and show products from the public Store catalog. The buyer still reviews the order and payment on screen.
  • Six Preview connectors have checkout-ready capability paths: Shopify, Square, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, commercetools, and Wix. Exact support remains capability-gated and live third-party-account proof is not universal.
  • Ecwid, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce B2C Commerce, and PrestaShop are connectable private-draft paths, not checkout-ready claims. Returns, refunds, administration, reconciliation, and some lifecycle acceptance remain partial or staged.

A good fit if

  • You sell products and want buyers to explore them through a Store-scoped AI conversation.
  • You can keep each cart and payment inside one seller-owned Store boundary.

Not the right fit if

  • You need a multi-seller cart, affiliate marketplace, or Prostir-managed seller payout.
  • You need every connector to be checkout-ready, universal live-account certification, or every return, refund, administration, and reconciliation lane complete today.

Questions before you decide

01

Does the Agent become the Store?

No. The Store owns catalog, inventory, cart, orders, and checkout. The Agent remains a separate product with a narrow grant to help buyers inside that exact Store.

02

Are all ecommerce connectors live?

No. Six Preview connectors have checkout-ready capability paths: Shopify, Square, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, commercetools, and Wix. Ecwid, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce B2C Commerce, and PrestaShop remain connection-only private drafts. Every path is capability-gated, not a blanket certification.
