AI ecommerce platform preview built around seller authority

Prostir is an AI ecommerce platform preview where a Store owns commerce and an existing authorized Agent helps buyers discover, compare, cart, and reach checkout.

What is getting in the way

A generic chatbot can describe products, but it cannot safely own current inventory, cart state, checkout, seller identity, and payment authority. Mixing those responsibilities creates weak answers and risky actions.

What changes

Keep the Store as the commerce owner, keep the Agent as the AI product, and connect them through an exact grant so buyer conversations stay inside one seller and one Store boundary.

How Prostir gets you there

  1. Choose the Store source

Start with the native Store foundation or evaluate a recognized Preview connector only for the capabilities advertised for that connector.

  2. Authorize one Agent

Grant an existing Agent access to the exact Store instead of creating a hidden StoreAgent identity.

  3. Test the buyer path

Evaluate discovery, comparison, a one-Store cart, seller-owned checkout, the public Store passport, and whether the commerce-only MCP surface passes its Agent and Store readiness gates.

What you can verify

  • The implemented Store foundation covers native catalog, variants, inventory, one-Store carts, checkout and order state, seller fees, and Store-scoped customer state.
  • Concurrency, complete administration, connector lifecycle, returns and refunds, and full AppHost lifecycle still contain partial or pending acceptance criteria.
  • All ten recognized connector rows are Preview and capability-gated; a catalog row is not end-to-end connector certification.

A good fit if

  • You sell products and want buyers to explore them through a Store-scoped AI conversation.
  • You can keep each cart and payment inside one seller-owned Store boundary.

Not the right fit if

  • You need a multi-seller cart, affiliate marketplace, or Prostir-managed seller payout.
  • You need all listed commerce connectors or the full return and refund operating flow today.

Questions before you decide

Does the Agent become the Store?

No. The Store owns catalog and commerce state. The Agent remains a separate product with an explicit grant to help inside that Store.

Are all ecommerce connectors live?

No. All ten recognized connectors are Preview and capability-gated. Shopify has the broadest currently documented path, while every other connector may be described only through its individually advertised capabilities.
